Saint-Gala

A college student with free time and a lot of love for select things. Star Ocean holds a special place in my heart. Then Final Fantasy 7 (more so Crisis Core). Then Kingdom Hearts. Then...everything else.

I use Flash MX 2004 for my drawings. I don't have Adobe Illustrator, and I'm not willing to pay for a program that I don't really need. Flash does everything I need. I was an animator in high school for my school's video announcements. Now I just use Flash for my own devices...

For some of the images, I found pictures online, and I retraced them in Flash for the vector quality. I like for pictures to be smooth...And I'll find non-vector images that I really like, but they're too small to be blown up on my desktop.

So now I have desktops to go along with the coloring pages, or just so there are more Star Ocean desktops out there. You can't have enough Star Ocean (or KH for that matter...)


Obsessions:

Star Ocean 3.
To break that down, I love Albel Nox, Fayt Leingod, Luther Lansfeld, and Cliff Fittir, in that order of preference. The story itself was a amazing. And glorious. And fantastic. And heart-wrenching. And superb. I've loved this game since the dawn of time, and I will till the end of time. I started playing it in 7th grade. I have yet to stop loving it.

Star Ocean 4.
Naturally, Arumat Thanatos, Edge Maverick, Faize Beleth (all tying for close first, but in order of preference), Crowe Almedio, and then Lymle Phi. I thought SO3 was an amazing story. But I loved how this one just tied everything in the other games up and unified them. And I'm one of the people who didn't see it coming. I cried.

Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core.
Zack Fair. Forever and always. I cried when I finished the game. I cried for a while. I loved Zack's character. And the story itself was moving. I had to stop playing video games for a while (I did the same thing with the Star Ocean games, but that's irrelevant now). I can recite the end cutscene perfectly. From start to finish. Sound effects and all. It was so moving...Ah, but I digress. Then...Genesis, Angeal, and Sephiroth tie for second. Then Cloud. I like Cloud. But I think if Zack can lift that 900 pound Buster sword while pumped full of lead, then Cloud needs to grow a pair and man up. But I love Zack. I hate SquareEnix for killing him...he was a perfectly good hero...but Square knows what it's doing I suppose....

Kingdom Hearts.
I like all of the games. But I really started to pick up when 358/2 came out. Or I started to like it more anyhow. I loved it before, but that game finalized it. I love the concept of the Nobodies. I love all of them except Larxene. She is a flaw. With cockroach styled hair. And everyone knows cockroaches are filthy. I have a preference for drawing Axel and Roxas. I blame the hair. And their personalities.

Phoenix Wright.
Yeah, I know. We went from epic RPGs to...this. GET OVER YOURSELVES. This game was fantastic, and I wish i had the money to own and play them all. They're all great, fun, and amazing stories....I love Miles Edgeworth, and I have no shame in saying so. He is amazing. Of course, I love Phoenix too, but who doesn't?
